Wheat/Kothumai Coffee Powder

Wheat coffee is unique in taste.Normally we make roti,dosa and sweets in wheat but we didn't make coffee in wheat.Taste is unique not like an regular coffee.You will give to children also.Coffee powder is very simple to make.We can make it in home itself.Here we use wheat,coriander seeds and cardamom.All are healthy ingredients only.Weekly thrice you can take this coffee.You can make this a porridge for child also.I read this recipe in some siddha book and i tried it. Unfortunately it came out very well.My son and amma like it very much

Two weeks once you made it freshly.We can made large quantities also no problem in that.For one glass,one spoon of powder is more than enough.I don't know whether wheat coffee powder is available in stores.If we prepared in home means it will increase the happiness
Ingredients
1.Wheat/Kothumai - 100 grams
2.Coriander seeds - 10 grams
3. Cardamom - 4 nos
Step by Step Pictures
Heat a pan,add wheat in it,Dry roast until wheat change dark color and transfer to plate

  In a pan add coriander seeds and cardamom ,don't dry roast,slightly roast it and transfer to plate

Once cool down,transfer to jar and coarse into fine powder.

Once powder cool down,store in a airtight container

Measurements

Normally we will confuse in measurements.In recipe we will say take one cup of water something like that at that time you will confuse the measurement of cup and all.So it will help to get clear view of measurements.
