Mint Chutney/Puthina Chutney for tiffin

Mint chutney is goes very well with idili and dosa.This chutney is not suitable for white rice because here we don't add any spices related items.Perfect sidedish for breakfast

Ingredients
Mint/Puthina - 1cup
Onion(medium) - 2 nos
Tomato (big) - 1 nos
Garlic - 5 cloves
Coconut - 2 tbspn
Red chillies - 3(add as per ur taste)
Curry leaves - few
Coriander leaves - 1/4 cup
Salt
Tempering
Mustard - 1/4tspn
Channa dal - 1/2 tap
Urad dal - 1/2 tsp
Oil
Curry leaves - few
Preparation
Heat pan and add oil in pan


Add Onion,curry leaves,garlic,red chillies and saute it


Add tomato and fry untill tomato mash it


Add mint,coriander leaves and saute it 4 mts and add salt


Add Coconut ,mix it and switch of the flame


Once it Cool down, transfer to jar and little water,grind it fine paste


This chutney is watery one ,add water depending upon ur consistency

Now it's time for tempering,heat a pan,add oil and add ingredients mentioned in tempering


Now yummy puthina chutney is ready serve with hot idily and dosa
