Plain Salna/Tomato Salna/Parrota Salna

Salna is very popular side dish for parotta.One day i was totally blank what i have to prepare for dinner.At that time i have only three ingredients in my home(onion,tomato and cocount).At that time i got an idea and prepare this salna.Its very easy and simple one it wont take too much time to prepare.For bachelor it is very easy one ,if you initial stage in cooking this will be an amazing recipe.Its goes very will parotta,idly,dosa and chapatti.Here i didn't add any veggies if you need add veggies and chicken.

Ingredients
Gravy for Masala
Onion - 2 nos
Tomato - 2 nos
Shredded Cocount - 2 tbspn
Ginger - 1/2 inch
Garlic - 4 nos
Tempering
Onion - 1 nos
Curry leaves - few
Redchilli powder - 1 1/2 tspn
Coriander powder - 1 tbspn
Gram masala - 1 tspn
Oil - 1 tbspn
Salt
Step by Step Pictures
Heat a pan,add oil and add chopped onion,ginger,garlic and saute it
Once onion sautes add tomato and cook until tomato half mashed
Then add cocount
Cool the mixture and transfer to jar and made a paste
Heat a pan,add oil and onion,saute it
Saute the onion and add ground masala
Add all powder in ground masala and mix it
                                               
Add enough water depending upon your consistency
Cook it for 15 mins and switch off the flame 
Serve with hot idly,dosa and parotta
