Simple sambar is very yummy in taste. Sambar is most important in south indian cuisine.without sambar no function.So many varieties in sambar are there.Here is one variety and easiest one.normally sambar is easy recipe to make but this sambar is very very easy to cook,less time and it is useful for working ladies,bachelor and mom to make for lunchbox.This recipe was learnt from my amma and grandma.Both are doing in different style,here i make it my style.Any kind of veggies you will add in sambar. Normally i will add brinjal in all my sambar because brinjal give nice taste to sambar.

Cooking: 15 mins
Ingredients
Toor Dal/Thuvaram paruppu - 1/2 cup
Onion - 2 no
Tomato - 1 no
Brinjal - 3 nos
Tamarind - small lemon size
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tspn
Redchilli Powder - 3/4 tspn
Sambar Powder - 1 tspn
Curry leaves - few
Coriander leaves - few
Salt
Oil

In a Pressure Cooker add dal,onion(1),tomato,brinjal,all powder,little oil and cook it 3 whistle

Heat a pan,add oil,mustard seeds
Once mustard seeds crack add onion and curry leaves
Now add cooked dal,tamarind water
At that time of boil add chopped coriander leaves.It will give nice taste and aroma to sambar.
Cook it 2 mins again and switch off.Simple sambar is ready
